Raising the Bar Higher – Sales Xceleration 2018 Annual Conference Recap!

Sales Xceleration Advisors recently convened in sunny Scottsdale, Arizona for our 2018 Annual Conference.  The Hotel Valley Ho in Old Scottsdale was an ideal location for the group of nearly 50 Advisors who attended, and the Valley of the Sun lived up to its reputation with beautiful weather!  While the location and amenities were superb, highlights of the 3-day event included the opportunity for Advisors to share best practices with one another, the introduction of new Advisor tools, and the reveal of an exciting new service for our client base.

Raising the Bar Higher was the theme of this year’s Conference – and we did just that!  Our Advisors are the best and brightest sales leaders in the country, and when given the opportunity to collaborate together and combine their 1,500+ years of sales leadership expertise, great things happen for the benefit of the clients we serve.

We are particularly excited about the introduction of our new product, Genesis+℠!  It is a powerful 16-week sales management training and certification program that builds and prepares sales leaders for rapid growth by combining the full suite of Sales Xceleration’s Genesis Sales Plan© (sales strategy, process, management, hiring) with expert sales leadership training. It provides exclusive one-on-one training with an Outsourced VP of Sales Advisor possessing an average of 25 years of sales leadership experience, giving business owners and their internal sales leaders the tools needed to implement and carry out a successful sales infrastructure and become better sales leaders.  Genesis+℠ was created as a result of client requests for Outsourced VP of Sales© Advisors to share their expertise and train an internal sales leader after the completion of successful Genesis Sales Plan© engagements.  Our upcoming newsletter, The Sales Xcelerator, will share additional details about Genesis+℠.

The Annual Conference continues to be a key benefit for Sales Xceleration Advisors.  It is a tremendous resource as they are able to leverage the depth of their peers’ expertise and knowledge in varied formats:

  • Advisor Success Stories were presented by John Lee (Portland, OR), Jay Greenwald (Denver, CO) and Joe Jackson (Columbus, OH). These presentations highlighted real-life client situations and detailed the before and after of their engagements.
  • In addition, informal roundtable discussions were held with questions/issues specific to Advisors and their engagements, discussed in depth, and then best practices were white boarded for the entire group.
  • Finally, a Panel Discussion was also conducted with Susan Tourville (Appleton, WI) and Michael Wills (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) serving as panelists.

While we gathered for the Annual Conference to share best practices, learn from each other, develop new friendships, reconnect, and discover what Sales Xceleration has planned for the future – the Agenda also contained social events for Advisors and their guests with a fun evening at Topgolf sponsored by Trident Contract Management and a starlit dinner on the Sky Line Rooftop at Hotel Valley Ho.

The 2018 Annual Conference was a huge success, in large part due to the active and enthusiastic participation of our Advisors.
