Sales Xceleration Day of Giving

Starting in 2019 we introduced the Day of Giving, aligned with National Volunteer week, to encourage fundraising and volunteering amongst our SX community. Over the past few years, we are extremely proud of all the efforts led by our team to support charitable organizations Nationwide.

Maura Katusky, Starfish Initiative
Their mission is: To inspire, encourage, and prepare motivated high school students from the most vulnerable populations for college, career, and life success through one-on-one mentoring. I was looking for an opportunity to be more hands on in a non-profit after serving in a board role for six years. It has been an honor and privilege to be a mentor to Pilar starting in 2020 and will continue to help guide her until she graduates from high school in 2024.

Jim Hardwick, Hardwick Foundation
The world has seen many changes the last few years with Covid. What has not changed are the dental needs for the people of Kenya. Hardwick Dental Teams had to postpone going to Kenya for two years because of Covid. On February 10th our team of fourteen left for the Mara. We are pleased to report that we treated 261 people and performed 979 procedures for those in need.

Mark Thacker, Pack for a Purpose Board Member
My wife, Pam, and I serve on the board for Pack for a Purpose – we have been on that board (and also as a participant) for 5+ years. Additionally, I have led our church’s Day of Caring for 10 years. We have 300+ people perform service work through 25+ projects in our community. I also serve as an Elder in my church.

Pam Thacker, Hoosier Veterans Assistance Foundation Volunteer
My passion for HVAF stems from my Dad’s service to our country. Each year I lead a small team that provides a brunch along with some needed toiletries and personal items to the Veterans at HVAF. Spending time with the Veterans strikes a chord with me because my father served in WWII, and then remained in the Army Reserves for 32 years – retiring as a Colonel. I am very proud of my Dad, and although he is no longer with us, I know he would be pleased to see that we are reaching out to help our Veterans.
