This month, we are highlighting Advisor Michel Privé, based in the Houston Metro Area, for his work with Silver Fox Advisors, a non-profit association of proven business leaders serving small businesses.
Silver Fox Advisors
Founded in 1986, Silver Fox Advisors is an association of accomplished executives, entrepreneurs, and consultants who volunteer their time to help business leaders overcome challenges and accelerate growth. Their mission is simple but powerful: help small business owners, CEOs, and nonprofit leaders establish, grow, and prosper by sharing decades of collective business experience. Michel contributes to this mission by working alongside other seasoned executives to provide less experienced business leaders with strategic guidance, mentorship, and practical advice rooted in real-world experience — all free of charge. In addition to volunteering on three different Silver Fox committees, Michel plays an active leadership role in expanding the organization’s impact across the Houston business community.CEO and Nonprofit Roundtables That Foster Growth
One of Silver Fox Advisors’ most impactful initiatives is its monthly CEO and nonprofit roundtable program. With more than ten active tables, these peer groups bring together business leaders and nonprofit managers in a confidential, collaborative environment.- Participants meet regularly to:
- Share current business challenges and opportunities
- Learn from peers facing similar issues
- Receive guidance from experienced advisors
- Strengthen leadership and strategic decision-making
Providing Education and Expert Guidance
Silver Fox Advisors also partners with local colleges, universities, and small business development organizations to deliver educational programs and mentorship opportunities. These initiatives help aspiring entrepreneurs and early-stage business leaders gain practical knowledge from professionals who have built and led successful companies. Michel contributes regularly to these educational initiatives by teaching topics such as sales, marketing, business development, and networking at roundtables as well as at colleges and universities. He also leads the tactical education program for local CEOs participating in the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program, helping entrepreneurs apply practical strategies to grow and scale their organizations.Making an Impact Through Experience
