Kevin Shaughnessy is the President of Sales Implementation LLC, a consulting firm based in San Antonio, TX. He utilizes the Sales Xceleration platform which facilitates sales and profitability growth for small and medium size businesses and provides clients with a comprehensive sales strategy, an integrated sales process, and an effective sales execution plan.
Prior to founding Sales Implementation, Kevin successfully owned and operated a multi-unit franchise business. He also has 25 years of experience leading sales and marketing teams. Kevin started a new sales division for a leading database marketing company. He served as the Vice President and General Manager of Sales for MCI, WorldCom and Metromedia Telecommunications and had full P&L responsibility as the President of an ITT business unit.

Kevin has a wide variety of sales management experience. He successfully led sales teams ranging from 9 people in a start-up division to large units with more than 600 sales and support people with annual revenues ranging from $2 million to $650 million. He has experience in B2B and B2C sales and has worked with National and Global accounts as well as the SMB market. Kevin has a consistent track record of taking over failing sales teams and turning them into top performing units.
He holds an MBA in Finance from New York University Stern Business School as well as a BBA in Economics from Pace University. He and his wife, Susan, have three grown children. He enjoys biking, hiking, travel and is an avid fan of the San Antonio Spurs.
