Prior to founding Equity Catapult, Steve participated in three successful start-ups in consumer goods leading sales, service, and customer success teams. He has expanded business into 77 countries, across 5 continents, and developed community campaigns to leverage a “local” strategy to ensure penetration, traction, and market expansion. Steve transitioned a privately held company into the public sector while guiding the organization through change and rapid growth along with a heightened level of expectation.
As a Growth Strategist, Consultant and Advisor, Steve is passionate about being a catalyst for revenue and profit growth in the smartest possible way. He has bootstrapped while creating early phase momentum of business plans and has allocated significant resources within larger corporations to expand and grow business with disruptive tactics. His approach to creating solutions helped grow revenue and secure the INC. 500’s fastest growing privately held company award 3X’s and become the 2nd most profitable brand of 93, in an $8B public company.
By creating a structure to scale an organization is a process and Steve has helped others succeed by mentoring both sales teams and business owners to build their equity through sales growth. The consumer is channel agnostic and with Steve’s 29 years of B2B and D2C experience, he will design go-to-market selling strategies that deliver revenue and profit growth while navigating challenges, where previous efforts failed, are stagnant, or have been non-existent.
Steve is a graduate of Washington State University, Certified in Gazelles and Rhythm Systems, a graduate of the Mann University’s Executive Leadership Course, and active Board Member of the American Fly Fishing Trade Association. He is a native of Seattle Washington and now resides in Bozeman, Montana with his lovely wife, three kids, two dogs, and a cat. They enjoy the outdoors, four seasons of mother nature and wish that winter was two months shorter.
